The museum chronicles the traditional life and agro-pastoral and craft heritage of Bortigali and the Marghine area.

Located in the historic center of Bortigali, the museum is housed a historic home that traces the traditional Sardinian domu. The collection, spread over 3 floors, was created by donation from the inhabitants of Bortigali and reconstructs through agricultural tools and household objects the traditional and agropastoral life of Bortigali.

The museum is managed by the Municipality of Bortigali, through whose offices visits can be booked.
